Welcome! My name is Grace Lautman and I'm so glad you are here. There are two ways to navigate this site; as a health care provider looking for continuing education, or as someone looking for support on you (or your child's) mental health journey. Either way, thank you so much for trusting me with your growth and development.

Honor Nutrition & Counseling was created out of my desire to hold a safe place for ALL individuals to honor their relationship with food, body, and self.

I am a certified nutritionist (CN), as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). My own personal struggles with physical and mental health have influenced my career path and as a result, these experiences have created a strong desire to understand and help individuals find peace with their bodies, minds, and food.

A key foundation of my work is rooted in health at every size and intuitive eating. These are researched philosophies that emphasize the wisdom of the body, social justice, and base health off of more than just body weight and size.

In terms of mental health counseling/therapy, I have undergone intensive continuing education and supervision, working with eating disorders/disordered eating, adolescents and young adults, social justice, family systems, as well as trauma/PTSD.

I utilize skills from a combination of approaches. These include: Attachment theory, Lifespan Integration (for trauma treatment), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT).

I completed my bachelor’s of science degree in dietetics/nutrition from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and my master’s of science degree from Bastyr University in nutrition and clinical health psychology.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my partner and our young daughter, getting coffee and donuts, and petting every dog I see. :)
